Catch a Yarrow sunset from the vantage point of our cupola or enjoy a fine wine while nestled next to one of our many fireplaces. You may even choose to pamper yourself with a relaxing massage! 

There are many dining options at Yarrow. We offer restaurant service at breakfast and dinner and can prepare gourmet picnics to enjoy anywhere on our beautiful property. Unlimited non-alcoholic beverages are always available and our Pub is open after 5:00 PM. 

Our Bed & Breakfast Package includes a wonderful breakfast, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, and overnight accommodations for two. History

As part of the underground railroad system, the farmhouse that originally stood on the property served as a refuge for persecuted travelers on their journey to freedom.  In much the same way, Yarrow Country Inn Bed and Breakfast is a retreat for people on their journey towards true rest and relaxation.

The first buildings that greet you as you arrive at Yarrow Country Inn Bed and Breakfast date back to the Civil War and were part of the original farm.  The chicken coop, tool shed and horse barn have since been renovated to provide several of our unique meeting rooms on the property.  Unfortunately, the farmhouse, which stood where the flagpole stands today, was badly damaged and could not be saved.

Mary Jo Pulte purchased the property in 1989.  Construction on the Lodge began in December of 1991.  Yarrow Country Inn Bed and Breakfast received it's name when Mary Jo sent several naturalists out to scout the property for items that were of interest or meaning.  Rocks, pine cones, and bird nests were among the collected souvenirs.  The one thing found in every person's collection was a wildflower name Yarrow.  It was discovered that the flower grows abundantly on the property and upon further investigation, Yarrow was found to have additional good qualities.  It is known to have healing properties and has been used for centuries.  It is also used in many herbal teas and aromatherapy applications.  In Asian cultures, Yarrow was used as part of the I-Ching, a method for relaxation.  And so the name Yarrow was selected, to help communicate the solution of healthful retreat, rest and relaxation that this facility provides for it's many guests.
